The most common cause of erectile dysfunction is the lack of blood flow to the penis.

This is the norm for men with high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease. The reason why is that the condition has damaged the blood vessels, which will affect the blood flow to the penis.

For years caffeine was looked at as a major cause of erectile dysfunction.  Why? Caffeine temporarily constricts blood flow. For individuals who drink caffeine on a regular, it’s not that common.

Caffeine can actually help improve blood flow.  This will actually benefit someone that is suffering from erectile dysfunction.  Three to four cups of coffee a day should be good enough.  Caffeine at an extremely high dosage may cause different problems such as, high heartbeat rate, headaches, anxiety and insomnia.  These side effects will add to your erectile dysfunction.

Too Much Coffee?

If you’re drinking tons(not literally) of coffee a day, you may want to cut back just a little.  It should be used in moderation to get positive effects.  You may even want to supplement with tea instead sometimes.  Green tea would be your best option because it has less caffeine than black tea.

Too much of anything can cause negative side effects.  There is a such thing as too much of a good think.  Before you get started make sure you consult your primary physician.
